Ellinger Chamber Hosting Bingo Feb. 11

The Ellinger Chamber of Commerce (104 W. Colorado Sky in Ellinger) will host Bingo on Feb. 11. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and games start at 6 pm. Hamburger, hotdogs, nachos, desserts and refreshments will be for sale. Two jackpots of $500 are guaranteed and 15 regular games.

Ellinger VFD

The Ellinger VFD was dispatched to a single vehicle accident on State Hwy 71 westbound, south of Power Plant Road at 7:50 p.m. The driver was a seventeen year old female. Firemen had to use jaws to extricate the driver who was taken by ambulance to Dell Children’s Hospital in Austin.

Shared Lutheran Ministry The monthly Sunday School will take place at St. John’s in Rutersville on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 3 pm.

Brethren Church

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Face book page.

LGISD

School will be released early on Feb. 19. Feb. 17 will be a student holiday and teacher in-service. Feb. 20 is a student and staff holiday.

Ellinger Sewer and Water Ellinger Sewer and Water will hold the annual meeting at the Ellinger Chamber Hall at 7 pm on Thursday, Feb. 16.
