Colton Roscher Graduates from Texas A&M

Colton Robert Roscher graduated from Texas A&M University on May 11, 2023 in Reed Arena at College Station. He graduated with a bachelor of science degree in wildlife and fisheries sciences. He is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He is a former graduate of La Grange High School and Blinn College where he received an associate of arts degree. He is the son of Glen and Margaret Roscher and the grandson of Audrey Huenefeld. He plans to pursue a career in wildlife and fisheries management and conservation.

Tyson Roscher Graduates from TSTC

Tyson Glen Roscher graduated on May 4, 2023 from Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas. He received an associate of applied science degree in solar energy technology. He also received certifications in electrical construction and energy efficiency specialist technology.

The Fayette County Fair’s commitment to youth and education and the field of agriculture is best demonstrated by its scholarship program. In 2023 the Fayette County Fair Association will once again continue its presentation of academic scholarships.

Rosenberg’s Scholarship Legacy

After nearly four decades of coordinating the Fayette County Fair Scholarship program, longtime director Marge Rosenberg said she will be stepping back from coordinating the program after this year (though she hasn’t found a replacement!). She got the idea to start the scholarship program after hearing about another fair doing so at a convention, and under her leadership, the program grew from giving away just a single scholarship the first year to now awarding 20 scholarships annually.
