Fayette County Fair Awards 20 Scholarships

The Fayette County Fair’s commitment to youth and education and the field of agriculture is best demonstrated by its scholarship program.

In 2023 the Fayette County Fair Association will once again continue its presentation of academic scholarships.

The scholarships are designed to afford Fayette County High School seniors the opportunity to further their educational pursuits with scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each.

The Scholarship tradition will continue this year to qualified seniors in all five Fayette County High Schools, Fayetteville, Flatonia, Round Top-Carmine, La Grange and Schulenburg as well as home schooled.

Criteria for the scholarships include excellent academic profile, leadership skills, sports, community involvement, work experience and or participation or involvement in the Fayette County Fair.

These scholarships will be accepted at any accredited University/College or Vocational School and allow the Fair Association to assist graduates in fulfilling their desire to continue their education.
