All Sauced Up Wins BBQ Showdown

The annual BBQ Showdown benefiting Combined Community Action, Inc, and the Family Crisis Center, in Memory of Judy Hielscher of Winchester, was held at Shorty’s Bar at 8902 FM 153 on Oct. 14.All Sauced Up was the grand champion cook-off team, Good Time Cookers was the reserve champions and Hometown Cookers received the best decorated award.

The Fayette County Winter Coyote Control Program begins on Nov. 4 and ends Jan. 7, 2024. The contest is being held to give landowners, producers, and sportsmen an opportunity to assist in the control of coyotes in Fayette County. Coyotes cause predation on livestock and result in economic losses to agricultural producers in the county.
