Winchester Neighbors Night Out Returns Wednesday

Winchester’s Neighbors Night Out will be held Wednesday, Aug. 21 with the Breeden family hosting. It will be an ice cream social, bring your favorite ice cream, toppings, or a dessert to go with the ice cream. It will be at Zilss Hall starting at 6:30 p.m. Come and enjoy fellowship with your neighbors.

Camp Periwinkle Wraps Up 40th Anniversary Summer Camp

The Periwinkle Foundation’s Camp Periwinkle hosted 134 campers at Camp For All in Burton, for a week-long, overnight camp for children ages 7-15 who are currently being treated or were previously treated for cancer at Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center and their siblings.

Community Blood Drive Sunday in Carmine

A blood drive will be held at Martin Luther Lutheran Church this Sunday, Aug. 25 from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.To make an appointment, go to the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center website. It is sponsored by Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Round Top and MLLC.

RT-C School News 

Round Top-Carmine Jr. varsity and varsity volleyball teams play at Giddings on Aug. 20 with the first game at 5 p.m.

School pictures will be taken on Aug. 22.

Aug. 23 is an early release day. Buses will run at 12:30 p.m.
