La Grange The La Grange varsity volleyball team played their last home match Tuesday, beating Manor New Tech 25-9, 25-6, 25-11. The Lady Leps finished the regular season with a 26-18 overall record and a 11-1 in district mark, tying with Giddings for the district title for the third consecutive year.

Walter Brock has announced his resignation as Athletic Director for the Schulenburg Independent School District. An agreement has been reached which permits the Board to pursue hiring another Athletic director and head football coach for Schulenburg High School.

It just took the longest set anyone in the gym could remember to get there. La Grange swept Giddings 25-21, 25-16, 32-30 in volleyball Friday as the Lady Leps moved back into a first place tie with the Lady Buffs.

Schulenburg The Schulenburg volleyball team defeated Weimar Friday 25-17, 25-21, 17-25, 25-22. The Lady Horns improved to 26-16 overall and 8-1 in district with the victory.

Nobody picked all 10 football games right last week in our $100 Pick Em contest, though one person came awfully close. One person (who shall remain nameless) was a perfect 9-for-9 but failed to pick a winner in the A&M/SouthCarolina game. This is a good reminder to double check your ballots before turning them in.
