On Saturday, February 4, the Mighty Leopard Band fielded three of its auxiliary groups in contest. The LHS Indoor Percussion and Winter Guard units kicked off their 2023 Texas Color Guard Circuit season, the first of four contests, at Akins High School.

The La Grange soccer teams swept Caldwell Friday night. The Lady Leps went to Caldwell and won 7-0 .

In two weeks the La Grange High School track team will begin its season with a meet in Weimar. This is a special year for Leps track as it marks the 100th anniversary of the school’s very first state title.

La Grange swimmer Ben Swisher has had such a great season in the pool that he’s recently qualified for the state swimming meet in San Antonio. Swisher qualified in the 100 yard butterfly event and is the only Leopard swimmer to make it to state this year – and the only swimmer in La Grange history to grasp such an accomplishment.

The Flatonia boys basketball team improved to 27-3 overall and 9-0 in district with a 68-52 win over Shiner at home Tuesday.
