We Have a Jackpot Winner This Week

After four weeks with no winner, someone’s getting a lot of money. Three entries correctly predicted all 10 winners of last week’s football pick-it contest, and amazingly two of those entries were turned in Jennifer Zaruba. But Jason Vela turned in the other, and he wins the $500 jackpot based on his tiebreaker prediction in the La Grange/ Caldwell game. He predicted the Leps to win 36-8 (the actual score was 44-10), beating out both of Zaruba’s predictions of La Grange wins of 24-14 and 21-10. We will try to get a photo of Vela collecting his winnings for Friday’s edition of the newspaper. Our jackpot goes back to $100 this week. Games below. Good luck!
