Wick to Pitch for UT-Tyler

Wyatt Wick, a 2021 La Grange High School graduate has accepted a scholarship offer to pitch for University of Texas-Tyler, a NCAA Division II school. Wick was a standout hurler for the Leps before pitching the last two seasons at Galveston College, where he pitched a combined 103 innings, striking out 80 for the Whitecaps. He was selected to play in the Texas/New Mexico National Junior College Athletic All-Star Game after his freshman year. This summer he is pitching in Bryan for the Brazos Valley Bombers in the Texas Summer Collegiate League.
