The Round Top-Carmine volleyball team defeated Waelder Friday 25-5, 25-13, 25-6 as the Cubettes improved to 32-7 overall and 7-0 in district. Stats for the Cubettes include: Mallory Krause 8 kills, 1 dig, 19 assists, 2 aces; Tess Eilers 5 kills, 2 digs, 1 ace; Kennedy Flinn 6 kills, 8 aces;. Kaysie Ward 12 kills, 2 assists Jessica Rohde; 4 kills, 3 digs; Jill Eilers 2 kills, 1 dig, 14 assists, 6 aces; Avery Nelius 8 digs, 1 assist, 1 ace; Makayla Smith 4 aces; Fernanda Cerda 1 ace.

The Schulenburg volleyball team defeated Weimar Friday in four sets, 25-16, 2225, 25-17, 25-18.

Landry Zapalac had 42 assists and three aces.

Emmrie Marx and Jessalyn Gipson each had 16 kills.

Meredith Magliolo had nine and Reagan Dusek had eight.

KierynAdams had 34 digs and Marx had 11.

The victory improved the Lady Horns’ record to 30-12 overall and 9-0 in district.

Kills: Summer Sodek with 12 and Katelin Sullivan with 6. Emma Klozik and Greenli VanZandt both added two each.
