Volleyball Round-Up

Schulenburg

The La Grange volleyball team dropped a pair of matches Tuesday on the road. They lost to Bellville 25-14, 25-16, 25-17 and lost to Brenham 259, 25-10, 25-7. Both matches were in Bellville.

The Lady Leps are now 11-16 overall and host Schulenburg Friday at 4:30 p.m.

Beats Fayetteville

The Schulenburg volleyball team defeated Fayetteville 25-7, 25-11, 25-15 Tuesday.

The Lady Horns got 14 kills from Emmrie Marx, 12 from Meredith Magliolo and nine from Reagan Dusek. Madison Kunschick had three aces. Kieryn Adams had 21 digs and Landry Zapalac had 10. Zapalac had 40 assists.

Fayetteville was led by Kayme Schley, who had seven kills and four aces. Harper Mau had nine digs and Schley had nine. Marissa Rohde had 10 assists.

The Lady Lions fell to 8-16 with the loss.

Schulenburg improved to 14-12 with the win.

RT-C Rolls On

The Round Top-Carmine volleyball team defeated Lexington Tuesday 25-18, 25-20, 24-26 and 25-19. The Cubettes improved to 14-6 with the victory

Flatonia Wins

The Flatonia volleyball team defeated Bloomington 25-15, 25-19, 24-26, 27-25 Tuesday night.

Stat leaders for the Lady Bulldogs include: Aces: Elzha Herrera and Aubree Mikulenka with 4. Katelin Sullivan had 3.

Assists: Summer Sodek with 17 and Katelin Sullivan with 16. Blocks: Emma Kosler with 1.

Digs: Elzah Herrera with 17, Aubree Mikulenka with 13, and Emma Kosler with 12.

Kills: Katelin Sullivan with 15, Summer Sodek with 12, and Emma Kosler with 6.

The Flatonia girls play at Hallettsville on Friday with varsity starting at 4:30 p.m.
