Two From LG Headed to Junior Olympics

Riley Youens, a La Grange High School student, and Dylan Truss, who just graduated from La Grange High School, are both headed to the AAU Junior Olympics next month after faring very well at the AAU Region 19 Qualifier at Converse earlier this month.

Youens threw the javelin 99-feet 3-inches to win her division and Truss (who is headed to Sam Houston State on a pole vaulting scholarship) cleared 15 feet to place fourth in his division. La Grange’s Blake Truss cleared 13-6 to place seventh.
