Thrall Beats Flatonia 28-21 in District Opener

Three times Friday Flatonia rallied to tie their game against Thrall.

But they weren’t able to put together a fourth rally as Thrall escaped with a 28-21 win over the Bulldogs.

Kobe Burton scored three touchdowns for Flatonia but Thrall was able to snag three interceptions on a night when most of the other stats were pretty similar.

Thrall improves to 4-1 overall and 10- in district.

The loss drops the Bulldogs to 3-2 overall and 1-0 in district. Flatonia hosts winless Thorndale this week.

Thorndale is coming off a 41-40 overtime loss to Schulenburg.
