The third round of the high school playoffs was rough for area teams as Weimar, Columbus and Cuero all were defeated.
But one “local” team remains alive as Bellville smashed previously undefeated Silsbee 61-7 as DD Murray and Sam Hranicky each ran for over 100 yards and scored two touchdowns each. Bellville averaged 9.2 yards a carry.
