Schulenburg vs. Rogers

Of Note: Rogers is coming off a 48-20 loss to Little River Academy, but the Eagles are a good team, returning four offensive and four defensive starters from a 3A team that went 8-4 last season. Quarterback Cooper Sisneroz is a player to watch. The dualthreat QB threw for 761 yards and ran for 647 last season. Schulenburg is coming off a 44-22 loss to Randolph last week. The Shorthorn defense gave up 355 rushing yards in the loss, but Schulenburg showed some good things as well, as quarterback Aaron Janecek ran for 112 yards and Da’Terrion Houston threw a TD pass and returned a fumble for a score.

Last meeting: Schulenburg lost to Rogers 55-14 last season. The Shorthorns’ only scores came on a Tyler Ryba TD run and a 39-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Janecek to Kenny Schramek.
