Schulenburg, Flatonia, RT-C All Win in Volleyball

Schulenburg Edges Shiner

The Schulenburg volleyball team defeated Shiner in five sets Friday, winning 19-25, 25-21, 25-21, 17-25, 15-8.

Landry Zapalac had 46 assists in that match and 11 digs.

Emmrie Marx had 16 kills, Jessalyn Gipson had 15 and Reagan Dusek had nine.

Meredith Magliolo had three blocks and seven kills.

Kieryn Adams had 37 digs, Keaton Walker had 12 and Dusek had 10.

Friday’s victory improves the Lady Horns to 26-12 overall and 5-0 in district.

Flatonia Beats Louise in Three

The Flatonia volleyball team went to Louise Friday and won in three sets 25-20, 25-20, 25-15. Flatonia stats leaders include: Aces: Summer Sodek and Elzah Herrera with 2 each. Emma Kosler and Katelin Sullivan with 1 each.

Assists: Summer Sodek and Katelin Sullivan with 12 each. Elzah Herrera with 9.

Blocks: Emma Kosler with 2. Katelin Sullivan, Greenli VanZandt, Katie Templeton and Summer Sodek all added 1 each.

Digs: Katelin Sullivan with 13, Summer Sodek with 12, and Elzah Herrera with 9.

Kills: Summer Sodek with 14, Katelin Sullivan with 8, and Emma Kosler with 7.

RT-C Bashes McDade The No. 3-ranked Round Top-Carmine volleyball team beat McDade Friday 25-13. 25-9, 25-13 to improve to 4-0 in district and 28-7 overall.
