Schulenburg and RT-Carmine Volleyball Teams Keep Rolling

Schulenburg Beats 5A

The Schulenburg volleyball team knocked off 5A Victoria West Friday 25-19, 19-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Landry Zapalac had 37 assists for the Lady Horns. Emmrie Marx had 15 kills, Jessalyn Gipson had nine and Meredith Magliolo had eight.

Magliolo had four blocks and Brooke Redding, Gipson and Zapalac had three each. Kieryn Adams had 27 digs and Keaton Walker had 19.

The Lady Horns are 24-12 overall and tied with Weimar atop the district standings with a 3-0 record.

RT-C Improves to 26-7

The Round Top-Carmine volleyball team improved to 26-7 overall and 2-0 in district with a 25-11, 25-9, 25-4 victory over Prairie Lea Friday.
