The Round Top-Carmine baseball team finished its regular season strong with a pair of wins over Snook last week, 5-2 Tuesday and 9-5 Friday.
In Tuesday’s game, Kannyn Goehring had two hits and scored two runs, and Tanner Schobel drove in two runs. Those two also combined on the pitching effort for the Cubs, limiting Snook to just three hits. Schobel struck out 10.
