Round Top Approves Budget And Two Pickleball Courts

The Round Top town council met by conference call Monday and approved Mayor Barry Bone’s overall budget for the next fiscal year. It includes a $30,000 deficit from the current year, Bone said.

Town Consultant David Stall said that, contrary to prior plans, all early voting will take place at the elections office at the county courthouse in La Grange. It was explained that all voting, “president to alderman” will be on one ballot.

Two pickleball courts were approved behind Henkel Hall. The chamber of commerce was given use of the town square for their annual Winefest fundraiser in November.
