Ballots Busted Again; Pot Grows to $800

An upset-filled college football season is really impacting our newspaper reader Pick-It Game. After six weeks of no winners, a record high 227 ballots were turned in last week – and still no one picked all 10 games correctly. The game that knocked the most ballots out was previously unbeaten Texas Tech’s surprise loss to Cincinnati. Only seven folks saw that coming (Sharon Novak, Bo Janda, Carolina Gilbreath, Eddie Helgren, Steve Seberger, David Cooper and Jennifer Zaruba), but all those folks missed other games. So our pot adds another hundred bucks and is up to a whopping $800 this week. Good luck!
