La Grange sophomore Bravion Rogers is a force to be reckoned with on the football field with his size and athleticism. He has the speed to produce high quality results on the track as well, medaling in four events at the Leopards’ regional meet and advancing to the state championships at the University of Texas in the 4x100 and 4x200 team relays and the high jump.

“He’s done a fantastic job,” said La Grange head track coach Rusty Cauthern. “I say this with all of our kids. They come out everyday and work hard. I’ve asked him to lead in certain situations and he’s stepped up and led. We’re just really proud of him.” Rogers has been in discussions with division one programs and started dunking a basketball at an early age. He’s now leaped his way into a nomination for this edition’s Player of the Week.
