LG’s Trey East Part of Three Track Meet Records in Hallettsville

Dylan Truss Also Sets Meet Record in Pole Vault as Leps Win Boys and Girls Team Titles

The La Grange boys and girls track teams continue their amazing season as both squads won team titles at the Hallettsville meet last week.

The girls scored 182 points, easily beating second place Hallettsville, which had 109.

On the boys side, La Grange scored 200.5 points, beating second place St. Paul, which had 157.

Several La Grange boys broke meet records

Dylan Truss’ 15’7” pole vault is a new meet record.

Trey East’s time of 22.20 in the 200 meters is a new meet record.

The La Grange 4x200 relay team set a new meet record with a time of 1:28.3. Dana Baker, Trey East, Jordan Scott and Johnny Rogers were the members of that relay.

The La Grange 4x100 relay team ran a 42.00 to set a new meet record. Dana Baker, Trey East, Jordan Scott and Johnny Rogers were also the members of that relay. Other meet highlights for La Grange included:

Aysia Grant won the Triple Jump and the Long Jump.

Jenna Jobb won the 3200 Meter run with a time of 12:30 and the 1600 meters with a time of 5:52.69.

Ariel Thompson won the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.64

Hailey Bass won the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:00.91.

The La Grange girls won the 4x100 and the 4x200 relay.

Johnny Rogers won the high jump with a leap of 6-2, and the 100 meters with a time of 10.65.
