LGISD Second Grade Jump Rope Champions Crowned

All the second graders got jump ropes and t-shirts as part of the program.
Boys Jump Rope champions included, Traevon Houston placing first, Jayden Faldyn placing second, and AJ Woody placing third. For the girls, Romy Thornton was the winner, Kymberlynn Sheppard placed second and Annabelle Chovanetz placed third.

The second-grade students at La Grange Elementary School have been working hard the past couple of months during their Physical Education class to develop and advance their jump rope skills.

On March 24, the Fayette County Helpers Organization hosted the Little Leps Jumping Journey Contest for approximately 135 students.

The second-grade students competed to see who could jump rope the longest without an error. Winners were selected from a semi-final jump-off, then the top fifteen boys competed in a final round to find the top three winners with Traevon Houston placing first, Jayden Faldyn placing second, and AJ Woody placing third.

For the girls, Romy Thornton placed first, Kymberlynn Sheppard placed second and Annabelle Chovanetz placed third.

Sponsors that donated a t-shirt and a jump rope for their home use to each participant.
