With a 4-1 win over Giddings at home Monday the La Grange baseball team closed out the regular season and clinched second place in District 22-4A.
Lep ace pitcher Trenton Barnes pitched five innings of three-hit ball with nine strikeouts. Brock Loehr relieved Barnes to get the save. Barnes had two doubles and an RBI, and Cody Kruse had two hits and two RBIs. The Leps finish with a 7-3 district…
