Lady Leps Begin Softball Playoffs Friday

Last Friday was supposed to be the regular season finale for the La Grange softball team but the game was canceled because of the weather.

That game is not going to be made up, but the Lady Leps have already clinched the runner-up spot in District 20-4A.

The La Grange girls now turn their attention to Salado (17-12), which they will play this weekend in a 4A best-of-three bi-district playoff series.

Game 1 in Friday at 6:30 p.m. in Salado.

Game 2 is Saturday at 1 p.m. in La Grange with a third game to follow Game 2, if necessary.

The Lady Leps have a 20-6 overall record.
