Krause Stacking Up the Stats for No. 3-Ranked Cubettes

Round Top-Carmine volleyball player Mallory Krause has been a force not only this season, but throughout her whole career as a Cubette. In 2023, the senior has tallied seven triple doubles, which helped lead RTC to a district title and a third place ranking in the TGCA State Volleyball Poll.

“She’s a triple threat for us,” said Round Top-Carmine head volleyball coach Catie Weishuhn. “She leads us in many categories and she puts in the effort. She’s here in the summer, she’s here every chance she gets, trying to perfect whatever it is that she needs to work on at the time. That goes for the classroom, too. She holds herself to a high standard, so we’re super proud of her and excited for her future.”

Krause’s outstanding leadership by example has made her our choice for this edition’s Athlete of the Week.
