Insight BJJ Competes In Houston

Insight Brazilian Jiu Jitsu had a great weekend of competition. On Friday night Insight had two competitors fight on the professional stage in Houston at Fight 2 Win 177. Assistant coach, John Burgoyne had his professional debut. After being down in the eyes of the judges early on, he came back and choked his opponent into submission for the win.

Then, Grayson Henley (son of owner/head instructor, Alex Henley), who is already a World champ, Pan Am champ, and American Nationals champ, had his 7th Fight 2 Win match, winning by a quick arm lock submission within the first two minutes of the match, taking him to a 5-2 record.

After the successful matches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the team had several athletes compete at the IBJJF Austin Open culminating in four bronze medals, one silver and one gold.
