Hoffman Wins $400 in Pick Em Contest

After three weeks without anyone going a perfect 10-for-10 in our reader football pick it contest, we had four folks do so last week – Randy Gardiner, Walter Newcomb, Bo Janda and Clarence Hoffman. But it was Hoffman who will pocket the $400 thanks to the score prediction tiebreaker. He almost exactly nailed the final score of the La Grange/Gonzales game. Gonzales won the game 42-27 and Hoffman had predicted 41-27. Janda was the runner-up predicting a 42-21 score. We will try to get a photo of Hoffman getting his prize for Friday’s newspaper.
