Flatonia’s Postseason Hopes End With Loss to Weimar

The Flatonia football team saw its hopes of making the playoffs snuffed out with a 31-0 loss to Weimar Friday.

The loss drops the Bulldogs to 5-4 overall and 2-3 in district.

Weimar, meanwhile, clinched a playoff berth with the win and has a bye this week and will wait their postseason matchup. Flatonia ends its season by hosting district-leading and undefeated Holland next week. The Bulldogs had four turnovers Friday compared to none for the Wildcats.

Kobe Burton led Flatonia in rushing with 67 yards.
