Flatonia Stays Unbeaten With 25-6 Win Over Stockdale

Flatonia came into this season with several players battling for the quarterback job.

Sophomore Keyshaun Green made a strong case for the job Friday as he ran for a 47-yard touchdown and threw for touchdowns as the Bulldogs beat Stockdale 25-6.

Green led Flatonia in rushing with 79 yards.

Chris Johnston ran for two touchdowns and 51 yards to aid the Bulldogs attack.

Stockdale did not score until less than five minutes remained in the game. The Flatonia defense limited Stockdale to just 162 total yards.

Friday’s victory keeps Flatonia undefeated with a 2-0 record heading into their Homecoming game Friday against Falls City.

Friday’s home opener for Flatonia is also the debut of their new turf football field.

Falls City is 1-1.
