Fenhaus Places 8th at State Cross Country Meet

Fayetteville’s Cole Fenhaus placed 8th at the state 1A cross country meet Friday in Round Rock, finishing his race in a time of 17:04.60.

Fenhaus also helped lead the Fayetteville boys to an 11th place finish at state.

Also placing for the Lions were: Lawson Fritsch (63rd), Kole Schmitt (69th), Mason Fenhaus (129th), Keagan Supak (131st), Colt Cox (133rd), Emanual Champs (145th).

In the 1A girls race, Fayetteville’s Saige Gasaway was 91st.

In the 2A boys race at state, Flatonia’s Duke Sodek was 65th.
