Cubettes Fall in Regional Semis

The Round Top-Carmine volleyball team lost a regional semifinal heartbreaker Tuesday night in Stockdale, falling to D’Hanis in five sets.

The match didn’t get much closer than this, as four of the five sets were decided by two points.

D’Hanis won the first two sets 25-21 and 26-24, but RT-C won the second sets 26-24 and 25-23. Then D’Hanis won the final set 15-13.

D’Hanis (24-4) now advances to the regional final where they will play Fayetteville.

RT-C had beaten D’Hanis in this round last season.
