Childhood Cancer Month Proclaimed

Fayette County Commissioners signed a proclamation last Thursday recognizing September as Childhood Cancer Month in Fayette County. Jackie and Marlana Wessels with the local organization Presley’s Power were on hand for the signing. The Commissioners Court also granted a request from Presley’s Power to hang a gold ribbon on the oak tree during the month of September with a sign recognizing Childhood Cancer Awareness Monday.
