Bulldogs Fall to Nixon-Smiley on Homecoming

On Homecoming night in Flatonia the Bulldogs lost to Nixon-Smiley 41-14.

Flatonia trailed just 20-14 at halftime but Nixon-Smiley scored 21 unanswered points after the break.

The Mustangs (1-2) did a strong job defensively, holding Flatonia to just 61 total yards of offense.

Keegan Green scored Flatonia first touchdown on a 23yard fumble return. Quarterback Beck Zimmerman scored on a three-yard run in the second quarter.

Friday’s loss drops the Bulldogs to 1-2 overall. They play at Three Rivers (3-0) Friday. Three Rivers is coming off a 52-6 victory over La Pryor and beat Nixon-Smiley 30-16 two weeks ago.
