The baseball playoffs begin this week.
• La Grange Leps will face Mickey Leland High School in a one-game series Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Waller.
• Fayetteville plays Spurger in a best-of-three at Sam Houston State with a doubleheader starting Friday at 5 p.m. If necessary Game 3 would be Saturday at 1 p.m.
• Round Top-Carmine was playing Richards Monday in a postseason tiebreaker.
