The La Grange baseball nine-under All-Stars were the runner-ups in their tournament. Players were: Styne Schramm, Jacob Kellen, Carson Muesse, Kooper Kirts, Cody Cernosek, Maddox Kleiber, Heath Kaspar, Anderson Bishop, Austin Smith, Zach Kocian, and Cooper Adams. Coaches were Russell Muesse, Eric Kocian and Jake Kellen.
The district-only all-star baseball and softball tournaments are over, but the international tournaments are just beginning. Here’s a roundup of local action:
• The La Grange minor baseball team has started its tournament in Brenham with two wins, a 12-2 victory over Burleson County and a 6-0 win over Hempstead.
