Second Chance Donates to RT-C High School Solar Car Challenge

Second Chance Emporium (SCE) recently donated $7,500 to the Round Top-Carmine (RT-C) High School Solar Car Challenge Team. Monies granted will be used to fund the Solar Car Challenge Project which concludes with a cross country road race across Texas to be held in July 2026. The mission of the Solar Car Challenge Project is to ignite curiosity, build real-world STEM skills, and connect education to the future of sustainable technology - all while having a great time designing, fabricating and racing a real solar powered car.
