Round Top Christmas Tour of Homes Set Dec. 6

RT Lion’s Turkey Trot
The Round Top Lion’s Club Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot offers a 10K, 5K or 1-mile fun run. The first race starts at 8 a.m. Register online at athleteguild.com/event/ round-top-tx/annual-roundtop- lions-club-turkey-trot to secure your spot.
Round Top-Carmine ISD
Classes are out Nov. 24-28 for the Thanksgiving holidays.
The final FFA meeting of 2025 will be Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m.
Enjoy a band concert Monday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. Midterm testing will be Dec. 16 and 17.
Students have an early release on Friday, Dec. 16 to kick-off Christmas break. Classes are out for the remainder of December and students will return Wednesday, Jan. 7.
Festival Hill
The Blinn College Wind Symphony and Choirs will perform “Sounds of the Season” on Saturday, Dec. 6, beginning at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased through Blinn College.
Round Top Rifle Hall
Round Top Rifle Hall Monday night hamburger socials are the first, second and third Mondays of each month. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Round Top Family Library

Round Top Historical Society
Support the RTAHS by “buying a brick.” Bricks will be engraved with your name and will expand the walkway at the Round Top Historical Campus. Purchase options include a 12x12, 8x8, or 4x8 brick. Bethlehem Lutheran Church
Bethlehem Lutheran Church meets for worship Sundays at 9:30 a.m. BLC will have their Thankoffering service on Nov. 23.
On Thursday, Nov. 6, the BLC Ruth Circle met for their monthly morning Bible study. Those attending were: LaVerne Albers, Joys Baird, Pastor John David Nedbalek, Sherry Pennington, Kathy Schatte, Jeanette Schoenst, Pearlie Wagner, Julie Wantland, and Sedalia Ullrich. Refreshments were served by Sherry Pennington. The study, titled “Generosity”, focused on 2 Corinthians 9:7: “Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not regretfully or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” God has so richly and abundantly blessed us with his gifts and we pray that He makes us capable and eager to give to others what He has first given us. Our hope is to turn away from our hoarder instincts and instead cheerfully and generously give our time, talent, and treasure (possessions) to others. St. Paul Lutheran Church St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shelby services are at 8 a.m. Fellowship, coffee, and Sunday School follow at 9:30 a.m. Game Day is held the first Wednesday at 2 p.m. Quilting is held the third Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. St. Paul will not have a service this Sunday, Nov. 23; lease attend BLC for the Thankoffering service.
St. Martin’s Catholic Church St. Martin holds monthly Mass the first Tuesday of each month at 8 a.m. for the intentions left on the altar.
St. John’s Lutheran Church St. John’s is part of the Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County. They meet for Sunday Worship at 8:30 a.m.
RT Christian Fellowship Round Top Church meets at 8:45 a.m. for Bible Study, followed by a 10 a.m. service.
St. Cecilia’s Episcopal Church Saint Cecilia’s meets Sundays at 8:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. at the Haw Creek Chapel in Henkel Square.
