Fayetteville Community Center Update

Phase I construction of the Fayetteville Community Center & Performance Theater is nearing completion in preparation for an opening to the public in late September. Workers from F&R Wood Floors of Brenham are pictured sanding the reclaimed flooring saved from the original E.J. Knesek Building. The columns on the first floor were also saved and reused and will soon be painted white. The entry doors that can be seen in the back of the photo were rebuilt by Hoelscher Weatherstrip to the same design and dimensions of the original doors. The Hoelscher family has had roots in Fayette County for over 100 years.
