Cowboy Church Hosting Team Roping Friday
The elders of the Stray Gathering Cowboy Church hosted an appreciation dinner for the founding members of the SG2C at La Marina Restaurant in La Grange. Each member was presented with a certificate of appreciation and a pen with a Bible verse.
SG2C is starting to make preparation for their Fall Festival. Saturday, Oct. 18 has been set for this fun event. If you would like to get involved with this fun activity here’s your chance to join in. Contact Chris Levinton, Fundraiser Team Leader, for more information or make it to church any Sunday morning.
SG2C is gearing up for their Team Roping event on July 25 at the Fayette County Sheriff’s Posse Arena in La-Grange. The fun begins at 7:30 p.m. Concessions will be available for purchase to keep you full while you watch some fun roping.
The ladies Bible study at SG2C on Thursday nights at 6:30 p.m. is off to a great start with thirteen ladies in attendance for the “Jesus and Jammies.” There were wonderful decoration and some delicious goodies to be consumed. Saturday, Aug. 2 is a chance to come out and look around the museum to see all the great treasures of the area that have been collected and lovingly displayed. The Muldoon Museum will be open from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Stop in and take time to visit with those who are working the museum.
Would you like to get involved with the Muldoon Museum and help preserve the history of the Muldoon area? Make plans to come out on Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 2 p.m. for the monthly meeting. Help is always welcome and it’s a great way to get to know the history.
Out and About
Jennifer Rightmer joined her siblings Wade Howard and Julie Zavala to attend the funeral of their aunt Virginia Gleaton of Weatherford. The trio traveled to Comanche to pay their respects to their aunt and to reconnect with many family members.

Traffic in the Muldoon area has increased both in numbers and speed. Please slow down and pay attention while traveling in the area.
Weather
Muldoon has been experiencing many rain showers over the last week, but sun is in the forecasted for the area. It is very green for the end of July.
