RT-C School News
The Round Top-Carmine ISD, in cooperation with the Burton Special Services Cooperative, will screen children who will be 3 and 4 years-old before Sept. 1, 2024 (and live in the school district) for the Early Childhood Program on Aug. 7 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the elementary school in Round Top. It is located at 608 N. Washington St.
This screening will help parents, as well as teachers, determine the child’s readiness for Kindergarten. The Early Childhood program is designed to help children who do not have the skills necessary to be successful when entering school. It is not designed for the student who is meeting normal developmental milestones; nor is it a program for a child whose only need is to learn to speak English.
Their Speech Language Pathologist will screen for vision, hearing, and speech.
For more information contact the elementary campus at (979) 966-6116.
All students returning to RT-C ISD must complete the online registration every year. Please log into your Parent Portal to complete your student’s registration for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Your email address must match the email address on file. High school students will not be able to pick up their schedules in August unless online registration is complete. School supply lists can be found on the website. For additional assistance please contact the campus office at (979) 966-6118.
Students new to RT-C ISD must complete enrollment paperwork. In order to complete the enrollment process online, you will need to create an account in Parent Portal on the rtcisd.net website. Enrollment packets are also available for download. You will need to print all the documents and complete them in ink. After the enrollment is complete, all students are required to complete online registration as well.
For more information, contact either campus at the numbers listed above.
