Alain Georges Déclert passed away on Jan. 29, 2025.

Joaquin Martines passed away peacefully on Feb. 2, 2025, in Houston, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on Aug. 10, 1947, in Coahuila, Mexico, to Pablo Marchan Martines and Leonor Garza Martines.

Hugh Lawrence “Larry” Romberg, a talented artist, beloved friend, and cherished family member, passed away on Jan. 9, 2025, at the age of 57. Known for his sharp wit, boundless creativity, and deep soul, Larry touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Elizabeth “Becky” Day Grunwald, 71, of Greenville, passed away on Jan. 29, 2025. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville, Texas.

A memorial service for David Gene Cernoch, of Ellinger, is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m.

Reynaldo Barrientos Guerra, 46, of Columbus, passed Okruhlik Bernard John Okruhlik, 85, of Spring passed away on Nov. 20, 2024.

Gloria Ann Barta, age 81, of Flatonia, was born on June 14, 1943, to Henry and Sophie Jasek in La Grange. She passed away on Jan. 31, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by family after a lengthy illness.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gene Edgar Moellenberg, beloved husband, father, grandfather, who passed away on Jan. 26, 2025 at the age of 79 in Houston.

Bethke Patricia (Pat) Bethke passed into the arms of her creator on Jan. 27, 2025. Pat was born in Houston on March 1, 1940. She received her B.S. in Elementary Education with a minor in Music from the University of Houston. As a teacher she taught art and music classes, but 5th grade was her real love. She had special memories of her students in the Round Rock and Fayetteville school districts.
