Allen Wayne Kulhanek Sr. passed away on March 18, 2025, in Houston. Allen was born on Sept. 3, 1968.

Allen was born and raised in Houston, but spent his weekends and summers in Fayetteville where he developed a love for hunting, fishing, and working on cars. Allen graduated from Scarborough High School in 1989. He began working as a mechanic, eventually opening his own shop in Houston.

In 1990, he married Julia, who he affectionately referred to as Renee. His greatest prides were his two sons, Allen, Jr., and Brandon. They created many memories together and enjoyed fishing and working on cars together. Although their time together was short, becoming a PawPaw to his grandson Cyrus filled Allen with unbridled joy.

The family will be hosting a Memorial Service in Allen’s honor on March 29, 2025 from 1-2:30 p.m. This will be held at Pat H Foley Funeral Home located at 1200 W. 34th St., Houston.
