Kenneth Dale Norsworthy, age 67, of La Grange, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on June 9, 2025. Born on January 24, 1958, in La Grange, Kenny was a proud lifelong resident of the area.

Dora Ann Coleman, 94 of La Grange formerly of Waco, passed away on June 11, 2025 in La Grange. She was born in Waco on Oct. 19, 1930 to Ray McCormick and Mary Katherine (Back) McCormick. She married Rod Coleman on Jan. 28, 1951 and they were married for over 50 years until his passing in 2001.

Calray “Cal” Melvin Schluter, 81, of Warrenton, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2025, in Brenham. Cal was born July 29, 1943, in San Bernardino, Calif., to Ray and Melba Schluter.

Ivan J. “Johnny” Anders, 98 of Houston went to the Lord June 4, 2025.

Audrey Mae (Bittner) Koenning passed away on June 6, 2025. She was born on Aug. 16, 1931, at home in Warda to her parents Herman and Emma (Lorenz) Bittner. She was baptized on Aug. 23, 1931, by Pastor Paul C. Eifert at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda. She was married on Oct. 30, 1949 to Milton E. Koenning by Pastor Paul Eifert at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Warda. They made their home in the Winchester area until Milton passed away on Feb. 23, 2017.

Graveside services for Rebecca Mayer, 63 of Round Top, are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Mayer Cemetery in Burton with Rev. John David Nedbalek officiating. Burial will follow in the Mayer Cemetery.

Jarol “J.J.” Vasek, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, in her hometown of La Grange, at the age of 74. She was born on Jan.

Funeral services for Genelda Stahmer are scheduled for Friday, June 6, 2025 at 10:30 am. at St. John Lutheran Church in Rutersville (5743 State Hwy. 159, La Grange), with interment following at the La Grange City Cemetery. Visitation was held Thursday, June 5, 2025 from noon until 7 p.m., with family receiving friends from 5 - 7 p.m. A prayer service will take place at 7 p.m.

Angeline Idella Boehnke, age 89, of Flatonia, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025 in the comfort of her own home surrounded by loved ones. Angeline, daughter of Adolph Novak, Sr., and Idella Mica Novak.
