Dorothy Marie Smith was born on Sept. 18, 1944 to Juanita Smith. She was an only child. She attended Randolph High School in La Grange and graduated in 1963. She had two cousins who were like sisters to her, Willie Faye Smith and Shirley Ray Fields. They were there for her when she started her journey to adulthood.

Robert Lee “Bob” Darnell, Jr., formerly of Giddings and most recently from Weimar, passed away at his home, surrounded by family on July 21, 2020. Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Bob will forever be remembered as a kind and loving man with big, broad shoulders, and the ability to accomplish just about anything he set his mind on doing.

Patrick James Janda, 68, of La Grange, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020. Patrick was born in La Grange on Oct, 22, 1951, the son of Alois Richard and Edith Bernadette (Janacek) Janda.

Evelinka Drizga, age 86 of Fayetteville, passed peacefully to her Lord and Savior on Monday July 13, 2020. Evelinka Drizga was born March 28,1934 in Fort Bend County and was the only child of Frank John and Olga (Kuropata) Drizga.

Flynn Dallas O’Brien passed away on July 6, 2020 in La Grange. He is survived by his brother, Jay Charles O’Brien and his sister-in-law, Cheryl Palmer O’Brien; as well as many cousins.
