Zoch Funeral services for Vernelle Zoch, 91 of Giddings, are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings with Rev. Robert Tiner and Rev. Joshua Hahn officiating. Burial will follow in the Giddings City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 7 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The family will be present for visitation Monday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Vernelle Bernice (Bieberstein) Zoch was born on July 31, 1931 to Herman and Selma (Felfe) Bieberstein at the home place in Lincoln. She married Alfred Walter Zoch on June 23, 1951 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings.

Vernelle passed away the morning of Monday, March 20, 2023 at Oakland Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Giddings.

Vernelle is survived her children, Denise Brademan of Lexington, Clyde and Penny Zoch of Lincoln, Lisa and Ronnie Petzold of Giddings, and Susan and Glenn Karisch of Giddings; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; numerous nieces and Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
