Connie Leigh Wilson was born on Dec. 15, 1961, to Jimie and Patricia Wilson in Petersburg, Va. When Connie was seven her family moved to Houston where she would later bring four children into the world. In 1993, Connie made the decision to move her family to La Grange where she would reside permanently. Connie spent numerous years as a CNA at Monument Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She loved her career as well as the friends and family she made there.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie and Patricia Wilson and her sister, Tresa Wilson.

She is survived by her four children; Ricky Perez and wife Crystal; Patti Perez and husband Dandre; Bo Perez and wife Aisha; Sammi Webster and husband Josh; her brother, Jimmie Wilson and wife Lisa; a niece Nikki Carter and husband Clinton. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a great grandson.

Visitation was held on Friday, Sept. 30, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at Tommy E. Taylor Funeral Home in La Grange.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Plum. Burial followed at the City of La Grange Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tommy E. Taylor Funeral Home in La Grange.
