Albert Benjamin Watkins passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023 in Hallettsville.

Albert was born March 5, 1935 in Little Marsh, Penn. to George and Viola Minnie Wentzel Watkins.

Albert was raised in Pennsylvania and upstate New York, coming to Texas in 1975 for work. Albert spent five years in the United States Marine Corp and had a long career as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed traveling throughout the states for work and pleasure and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle as often as he could.

He is survived by his children, Gene Edward Watkins of Portsmouth, Va. and daughter, Vicki Watkins Mueller and her husband, Gary of Schulenburg. He had two grandchildren, Jayme Nichol Watkins of Ashland, Va. and Casey Benjamin Mueller and wife, Kelcy Williams Mueller of Pearland.

There will be a graveside service in Knoxville, Penn. on Oct. 7, 2023.
