Walcik

Tina Darlene (Duncan) Walcik, 63, of Fayetteville, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023.

Tina was born in Houston, on May 9, 1959, the daughter of Mary Ellen (Parsons) and Oscar Lee Duncan. She graduated form Waltrip High School in Houston in 1977.

She married the love of her life, Randy Walcik on Aug. 4, 1979 in Houston. Together they raised three sons: Shaun, Dusty and Dylan. She was a loving wife and devoted her life to caring for her family.

Tina spent her life’s work in service. She was a school bus driver for Cy Fair ISD, Fayetteville Schools, and La Grange Schools. She worked for Fayette County EMS as an EMS Supervisor in Schulenburg and as a corrections officer for the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department.

She loved animals, especially her precious French Bulldogs. She had a heart of gold and loved to visit friends and family. Tina’s smile and laughter would light up any room she was in. She made time for her family and grandchildren that she loved dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Walcik; sons: Shaun Walcik and girlfriend, Misty McCowan of Fayetteville, Dustin Walcik and wife, Kayleigh of Fayetteville; and Dylan Walcik and wife, Katie of Eagle Lake; brother, Barry Duncan of Austin; grandchildren: Tyler, Mackenzie and Weston, who is expected in May.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ellen and Oscar Duncan.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 4, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the SPJST Lodge, 507 E. Main St., Fayetteville, Texas 78940. A dinner will be served.
