Larry Gene Vasut, 76, of Industry formerly of Lissie, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025.

Larry was born on March 2, 1949, the son of Eddie and Veronica (Noska) Vasut. He graduated from Columbus High School and attended Blinn College. Larry also served in the National Guard.

He married the love of his life, Linda (Assmann) Vasut on July 23, 1977, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Frelsburg.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; son, Terry Vasut; brother, Curtis Vasut (Donna); three sisters-in-law: Judy Vasut, Lillie Mae Assmann (Mike), and Mildred Siptak; and two brothers-inlaw: Marvin Surrett and Larry Assmann (Mary).

A visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, from 10 - 11 a.m. prior to the graveside service at the National Cemetery in Nelsonville. Service will follow at 11 a.m.
